Precious Parker

This is a little over due but my new nephew Parker Thomas Koby was born April 6th. David likes to refer to him as Parks. He is super sweet and tiny. I am not going to lie...its a little weird to see my baby brother as a Daddy. Just one year he would not even sit close to baby Conner because he was nervous around babies and now he has one of his own. He is such a good daddy and Jacque is a great mom. I am so proud of both of them and their love for one another and of course Parker.

He is so sweet sleeping on David's tummy! Jacque's parents were able to come in town and meet the newest member of the family, and we got to meet her dad and brother. It was a sweet time for everyone.

Prayer Request: Jacque will be flying to visiting her family next week, so for safety for her and Parker while they are gone. Also Landon is in the middle of finals.

Exam time

So Landon has been in medical school for a WHOLE month now...and is working super hard to make sure he is making the most of this opportunity that God has given him. He is the most diligent person I know...he does not do anything half-hearted. So he has his first tests next week so this week he has been studying until about 1 or 2 AM and so I have been staying up late because I hate going to bed without him. So we have both been tired and stressed. But God has a plan and this is just part of it.

We have some exciting news my little brother David and his wife are going to have a baby!!! I am so thrilled....I love my niece and nephew so much that I cannot wait to have another one.

A New Beginning

Landon and I have been very blessed the past two years but God has really been working over time the past two months to reveal His absolute goodness to us. It has been truly amazing to see the goals we have been working toward the past two years actually coming together perfectly...only something He could bring about. I am not big on blogging...I like to read friends blogs but I was not sure if it was something I could do (sounds weird but true). One night I was praying about this new adventure we are about to behold and I really wanted a way to chronicle it and thought why not give it a try. So this is our journal of our new adventures together and a way to see how God's timing is always perfect.

Tomorrow we move into our new apartment and we are soooo excited, well I think I am more excited about it than Landon but still we are excited about what it means. It means that Landon is about to start medical school and I love to think that his hard work finally paid off and he is about to embark on something he has wanted since high school. He has been so diligent in preparing for this but realizes that even though he worked hard God was the One that was in total control of this situation and he would not even have this opportunity had He not brought it about.
